What are you thankful for? (Thanksgiving Thoughts)

Once the BER months come in, us Filipinos, do our countdown for Christmas. By passing other joyous holidays (in my opinion, Halloween is JOYOUS!). One holiday that Filipinos aren't really into celebrating (but we really should celebrate it) is Thanksgiving.

Okay, for those who've been living under a rock for the passed number of centuries, Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving has its historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, and has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.(Thanksgiving definition was from Wikipedia) Modern day Thanksgiving is more focused on being thankful for all the blessings that each has received for the year. This year, the holiday falls on November 27.

So for this post, I would like to take part in celebrating Thanksgiving.

What are you thankful for?

A whole lot of blessings came to me this year. I gained a brand spankin' new husband, a family, and a wonderful beautiful baby boy. With every new thing that came my way this 2014, what I'm most thankful for are the most consistent part of my life, My mom and my brother.

Mom - You have been very supportive and understanding, I can't even properly express how much that means to me. You have been our (Pau and I) strength. Thank you for always being there, for the patience, love, and everything else in between. I love you, Mom.
